High Standard Equine Photography

What should I expect the day of the photo shoot?

Please arrive 30 min early if you are bringing your own horse to give you time to get your horse settled and last finishing touches of cleaning. We do have an outdoor wash stall if you need to do a quick touch up bath. But please make sure your horse is well groomed/bathed before you arrive so y'all can look your best in the pictures. 

Bring your clothes or as many changes of outfits as you want. If you want to do some formal pictures and riding pictures that is completely fine. The tack/outfit changes are a part of the photo shoot. 

Wear nice shoes but ones you can still walk in if we are doing formal pictures. We will walk around to different areas taking many pictures and variety of poses. 

Can I bring my own horse? 

Yes, you can bring your own horse or use one of ours for the photo shoot.

How long is the photo shoot?

Each session is one hour and is for one horse/rider combination to allow us to get as many poses and pictures as possible. Of course, you may always purchase an additional hour if you want a longer session.

Where is the photo shoot done? 

You can bring your horse to High Standard Stables or use one of our horses here. Or you can request to have Amy out to your property or a horse show for a travel fee. 

When will I receive my pictures? 

You will receive all of your digital pictures on a thumb drive approximately 2 weeks after the photo shoot.

When is payment due?

Payment is due at the time of the photo shoot. Check (made out to Amy Becker) or Cash are accepted.

Can I use the photos for commercial use? 

All photographs are copyrighted, and all rights reserved by High Standard Equine Photography. Under Untied States Copyright law, US Code Titel 17, Unauthorized use is illegal. The photo shoot pictures are for personal use only and includes the right for use of images on a personal or farm website, horse sale flyers, and web sharing sites such as Facebook. Website must include a photo credit. These images may also be used for making prints and enlargements. These images may not be published in any form, (Magazines, advertisements, commercial and sponsor use) without the written consent of High Standard Equine Photography. There may be additional fees for such use- please contact us for information. 

Who is the Photographer?

Amy has always had a passion for horses and capturing their beauty with pictures. For over 15 years she has enjoyed taking pictures of her students and their beloved horses either at horse shows (Jumpers, eventing, hunter/jumpers, dressage, & western) or during a formal photo shoot. She not only enjoys the actual photo shoot with each horse/rider but also seeing how much the rider loves the pictures of their favorite horse!
